The air-thickery curtain, usually called just a heat curtain, is designed to maintain the required temperature in the room, regardless of the temperature of the atmospheric air. Since the thermal curtain creates a powerful stream “cutting off” air from the outside, it can significantly reduce heat loss in rooms in which the front door is constantly open (or often open). Also the thermal curtain with the heating element is an additional heater. Since the heating elements are included separately (and their shutdown does not affect the main function of the curtain), in the warm season, the air-the-floor curtain allows you to maintain air in the room with cool.
The air flow also prevents the penetration of street dust into the room, which allows minimizing the cost of cleaning and extend the service life of the mechanisms installed in the room (but, of course, it will not be possible to refuse to clean the cleaning).
In addition, the thermal curtain installed above the entrance to the refrigerator chambers (of course, without heating elements) prevents the formation of drafts and reduces the load on the cell electric motors. Therefore, if you plan to install and active use of refrigerator chambers, you should also buy a thermal curtain – the costs of it will pay off quickly enough, since both the wear of the engines and their energy consumption will sharply decrease.
In the presence of a vestibule, the thermal curtain can be less powerful – since the double door itself is a barrier to atmospheric air. However, you should not save too much – even in the vestibule you need a curtain designed for the door. The low -power thermal curtain is suitable for installation over the window – but in the doorway it is almost useless, since the flow will not cut off the heavy cold air going through the floor.
