Replacing the old tile is not so easy. But our tips will facilitate this task for you. You will need a scraper, drill, hammer, chisel and spatula.
We remove the dried grouting with a scraper. When removing it, start with vertical seams and only then move on to horizontal. Drill holes in the tile to loosen it.
Gently working with a bite, we remove the remains of the tiles. Do not immerse the tip of the bondage too deep. Start from drilled holes. We pay special attention to the edges – because neighboring areas can sometimes be left as is. The smaller the old solution remains on the wall, the better.
We take a new tile and apply glue on the wrong side with a spatula. By putting the tile in the place, evaluate the work visually. The tile does not protrude too much, towering above the old masonry? To remove this drawback, use a simple wooden bar. Press them tiles into the wall.
It remains only to tinker with grouting. Perpendicular to the plane of the surface of the wall, put the crosses – this will not allow the tile to change the position and leave the space for grouting. When the glue will grab the tile enough, you can continue to work.
