Yesterday, the first spy photos of the next restyling of the top version of the GLE crossover were published on the Internet, which became a reason for us to imagine what the new product will look like.
The current (second) generation GLE debuted in the fall of 2018. At the beginning of 2023, the crossover received its first update, which in appearance affected primarily the graphics of the front and rear optics. As we have already reported many times, the German automaker decided to extend the conveyor life of all its large crossovers – GLE, GLE Coupe and GLS. Today we will consider the most powerful modification from AMG, which was just recently caught by photo spies.
Judging by the available photos of prototypes, the SUV will receive more serious changes at the front during the second restyling: new headlights will appear here, both in shape and in the graphics of the side lights (it will now be made in the form of a pair of three-beam stars in each headlight), a slightly larger radiator grille and a new bumper. The design of the grille is not yet visible through the camouflage film, but we can assume that it will be made in the style of the new E-class and the company’s electric models, that is, it will receive a contrasting black edging. At the back, you can already partially see the design of the lights, there will also be two stars on each side, like the E-class, which will replace the rather simple stripes of the side lights of the first restyling. At the same time, a decorative insert may appear between the lights to visually unite them.
