Which warm floor to choose for an apartment

In our country, the warm floor becomes very popular. All this is easily explained by the fact that the central heating system has a lot of disadvantages. The warm floor, on the contrary, has practically no shortcomings.

Now there is even an opinion that the owner of the home with which such a system was installed is a true connoisseur of a comfortable situation and savings.

And yet, which heating system is better? Now we will consider what varieties are and how they differ.

In general, the warm floors are divided into only two types:

Water;

Electric.

Installation of the warm floor using water coolants.

From the riser or from the central heating of the house, water is brought to this tie of the warm floor. Also, additionally installed a water pump, this pump helps to circulate water according to the central heating system.

Of course, you can install a warm floor without a water pump, while its work will be performed by gravity. But it is very difficult to make this and is practically not done in practice. Only a small part of the room is heated without a pump.

Advantages:

Quite cheap when installing, when compared with electric;

As a heat conductor, water is cheaper in cost compared to electricity.

Flaws:

When installing, you can cause damage to the heating system;

When the water supply pressure drops, it may stop working.

It is prohibited to install a water warm floor in apartment buildings. If, one of the tenants has installed such a system for themselves, then other residents can no longer normally use the heating system. Since there is a large load on the water supply system, as well as, cold water from the warm floor enters the central heating, which can lead to a drop in the total temperature of the house.

Electric warm floors.

This system is based on the operation of special electric wires, which are made of specific alloys. Cables convert electricity into thermal, and there is a special device to regulate heat. This device always includes.

Advantages of the electric system:

Service life longer than that of water;

Electricity consumption is minimal, since an electric warm floor consumes as much energy as a conventional household device.

The disadvantages of the electric heating system are: expensive installation and electromagnetic radiation, which is released during operation, this radiation negatively affects the environmental component of the home.
