Each motorist sooner or later arises such an important task as off -season storage of tires. The perfect solution to this problem is to store car tires on racks. It is this condition that will help ensure the safety of rubber. Tire racks are a rather practical and universal installation, on which it is also allowed to have various parts and the components of parts of the machine. Among a number of rules contained in the GOST, there are those that make sense to observe when storing such objects on rack systems. As a rule, this applies to storage of an impressive number of tires. However, to learn about some specific storage positions will be useful even for a regular car user. The peculiar location of the tires on metal racks determines the appropriate ventilation, which, in turn, has a positive effect on their safety and safety. At the same time, a convenient and practical installation design allows you to organize free access to absolutely all the tires that were placed on the rack.
Types of tire racks

Drama rack installations
Usually in storage rooms, rack systems of frame type are widely used. Their basis is the design presented in the form of a hexagon (parallelepiped). Such installations are somewhat similar to console ones in that they are also fixed in the holes on the racks, according to which they are allowed to move. The size of the located tires has a direct effect on the height of the space between the consoles.
So, for example, on a particular rack, namely on its adjacent consoles, you can store tires of various dimensions and types. Tires are placed on frame rack structures exclusively vertically. It should be noted that they can be freely twisted if they are stored for a long time on metal installations. In order to increase the operational period, it makes sense to process rack devices using special paints based on polymers that confront the appearance of corrosion.
Console rack installations
As for the shelves of the console type, they are characterized by a one -sided attachment of all existing supporting elements. But it should be assured that such a feature does not make the rack unreliable and dilapidated. In this case, the tires are installed in special crossbars (vertically), which were mounted on consoles.
Based on which tires are planned to be stored on the rack, you can adjust the location, as well as the height of the consoles. They are incredibly easy in a permutation, so anyone can cope with this. In addition, on vertical racks it is allowed to organize consoles in several tiers. The only minus of such rack installations is the need to fasten the racks to the wall surface.
