Houses from foam concrete: why are they gaining popularity

Nowadays, houses made from foam concrete are gaining more and more popularity. Foam concrete is one of the types of cellular concrete. It is obtained by mixing water, sand, cement and foaming agent. After the mixture hardens, it begins to represent a strong porous material that is endowed with unique properties. This material is widespread and used as thermal insulation material, in monolithic and block construction. What are the advantages of such houses? Most construction work is carried out using artificial materials. Unlike them, foam concrete is made from raw materials of natural origin. This increases the degree of comfort of your home and provides better body protection. This is ensured by the fact that harmful substances do not emit into the air. Foam concrete is perfectly isolating you from extraneous noise. A house from this material can even be built near the road. The noise of cars will not affect the silence in the house. Foam concrete is much easier than ordinary concrete. This is due to the characteristics of the structure, because foam concrete is 35-40% of the air. The ease of material simplifies its installation, facilitates transportation and reduces the costs. Despite a number of technological differences, foam concrete is in no way inferior to other building materials. Features of the structure make it one of the best building materials in terms of durability and reliability. A house built of such material, with proper care, will last more than a century. A closed cellular structure will avoid dampness, since foam concrete absorbs excessive moisture. In addition, you may not worry about decay and fire safety. Minerals included in the structure of the material are not subject to these processes. Accordingly, the material itself is successfully opposed.
