To give the ceiling the appearance of a complete design solution, you need to choose good rails and not ignore the simplest installation rules. From the tools we need: a drill, roulette, screwdriver, scissors, screws, level, plugs, dowels, and a knife.
You need to start installation from the simplest: from marking. To do this, lay off a few centimeters from the ceiling and cross out the horizontal line. The skirting board is attached along the line, it will close the joint between the ceiling and the wall. The distance from one mount to another should not be less than 400 mm. The next step will be the mounting of the suspensions. The openings for the anchors must be made in the supporting structure, the bolts will stand in the thrust eye and there will be fixed there. This is the most important stage, because the mount on the suspensions gave the name the ceiling. As a rule, after installation, the ceiling becomes lower by 3-7 cm, so the initial distance from the floor to the ceiling should be measured and taken into account. Installation without suspensions, also, in principle, is possible, so they usually do when the room is low ceilings, but it is much more complicated. Further, it is advisable to determine the direction of the rails, the rails must be cut to the size of the room, while the real length of the ceiling should exceed the size of the rack by 3-5 cm. Scissors for metal will become a suitable tool, but in their absence you can use the usual.
Stringers – bearing profiles, should be located at the same level, in one direction relative to each other and necessarily perpendicular to the rails. The profiles are attached to the ceiling on the suspensions, after, the design is checked by the level. Using the adjustment springs, you can, later, vary the height. Before installing from the racks, you should not forget to remove the films. Typically, the process of installing rails begins with the edges, and after that, the panels are snap on the supporting profiles. It must be remembered that the panels are very easily deformed, so the caution will not be unnecessary here. The edge of the last rail must go for the skirting board until it stops.
And the last detail. When installing an open type ceiling, a slotted profile is used to decorate, which must be shortened into the size of the rails and install between them with a simple press. It is advisable, along with the installation of the ceiling, the installation of lighting. The rack ceiling is ready.
