The best version of the insulation when warming the ceiling, of course, is foam slabs, but the rolled mineral insulation is also suitable. As usual, when warming, a layer of vapor barrier is laid, which looks like a foamed polyethylene with foil. Polyethylene is laid with foil to the insulated room and attached to the beams using a stapler. After which they begin to lay insulation. In the case of polystyrene, stoves in two rows are laid so that the upper row overlaps the joints of the lower. The joints of the foam plates are compacted with mounting foam. After the foam hardening, the second row of plates is laid. After which waterproofing is laid from roofing material or parcham. All the insulation of the ceiling based on foam is ready.
Similarly, insulation is carried out with roll materials. A heater is rolled out on a layer of vapor barrier, tightly inserting it between the beams. The second layer overlap the joints. Waterproofing is laid on top of the insulation. If possible, it is better to put the floor in the attic, thereby protect the insulation from physical influence, but if this is not possible, you can leave it as it is.
The roof is insulated if the attic is arranged. In this case, the insulation is attached directly to the rafters. Only insulation is carried out as if in the reverse order. From the beginning from the roof there is a layer of waterproofing, which is attached with a stapler, then a heater, and then a layer of vapor barrier. In case of insulation of the roof, the mounting mount can be performed as a fastening to the rafters using boards, sheathe rafters. Or, if the dwelling is not planned, then you can fix the insulation using a cord, which stretches along the rafters.
