The Czech brand has expanded the range of versions of the modernized Octavia family. Now the five-door models are again available with all-wheel drive.
The restyled liftback and station wagon Skoda Octavia debuted in February 2024, they entered the European market in the spring. Previously, the modernized five-door models were available exclusively with front-wheel drive. And now, almost a year later, as promised during the presentation, all-wheel drive cars are again available to customers. By the way, the Czech division of Skoda announced the start of sales of the Octavia 4×4 last month, and today the global office announced the launch.
All-wheel drive is available for the Skoda Octavia and Octavia Combi with a 2.0 TSI petrol turbo four-cylinder engine, which produces 204 hp and 320 Nm (before restyling, the engine power was 190 hp, the torque is the same). The engine works in tandem with a seven-speed DSG gearbox. It is stated that the all-wheel drive liftback will reach the first “hundred” in 6.6 seconds, a similar station wagon – in 6.7 seconds. The maximum speed is the same for both options – 228 km / h.
