The Venucia brand has announced the presentation date of the V-Online SUV with a new design. The hybrid version has been restyled, but the “traditional” five-door may well be retired over time.
The updated plug-in hybrid Venucia V-Online DD-i appeared in certification photos last fall. The first branded images were published at the end of January 2025. Well, throughout almost the entire month of February, the brand has been posting photos of the modernized five-door on its page on the Chinese social network Weibo almost every day. In addition, the brand announced the presentation date of such an SUV – February 28. Probably, the model will be available for purchase then.
Venucia is a joint project of Nissan and Dongfeng, the brand was created specifically for the Chinese market. The V-Online crossover has been in service since 2021, and it debuted in a purely gasoline version. The hybrid was launched in 2023, it initially differed from the “traditional” SUV in its exterior design. Meanwhile, Venucia previously announced that it would no longer invest in new models with only internal combustion engines. That is, it is possible that the regular SUV will not wait for restyling and will leave China after the end of its life cycle.
